Loving the spray booth Sir Hawk. What do you do on the floor?

I wash the floor down. And, as recommended by an auto body friend, I wet it down just prior to spraying. Seemed to work fairly well the last time. It wasn't perfect, but I was pretty satisfied with the end result.

So the floor is wet when you spray?

So the floor is wet when you spray? Yes Sir. It seems to keep dust from kicking up when walking around the tub. I'm not overly concerned about minor imperfections. Just tying to keep it to a minimum. First, I spray the plastic down to clean it. Then I'll run the exhaust/fan system until it's dry. Once dry, I re-wet the floor, then spray the paint. Hawk

Thanks to Leaker and Rick for picking this up for me... Official spacers cost too much. Some 1/2" nuts foot the bill quite nicely... We may be axing the smiley face tire cover. Rachel seems to like this better... Paint booth has been removed. I now have room for some serious assembly...

Oh, Forgot . I went ahead and built the grill welt tool. Also assembled the headlight bucket tonight. No photo. They are painted brown. Hawk

Excellent. I think you could sell that doggie art easily. Made me laugh. Happy Hawky when his hands are busy. Willys pickup is next, or a M37? got to keep the wheels turning ya know!

Thanks Fellas!!!! I appreciate the feedback.
Sounds like you all like it with the doggy art. The smiley face might be too much of a cliche at this point. Doggy it is!
Leaker, I have a 2A in line next. You can see it out the back window under the blue tarp, in one of the photos. But...I have to remodel the bathrooms before I get to start another project. (Rats)
Grumpy, you might not know the full purpose of this Willys, but I think you'll like it. This one is the "Thrasher"...and built solely to beat up. (At least that's what Rachel thinks.) Secretly, I hope she takes care of it.
You guys are the best!
Hawk

Tim: Your Garage Foo is STRONG!
Your ability and patience to coax rust into reward is unparalleled!
Looks fantastic. The Kilroy bulldog is a clever, tasteful addition.

Mr. Rudy, Not sure I've got the Garage Foo. If you saw the big clear coat run on my fender, you might think otherwise. ... but thank you anyway. Also posted at the 3A... This weekend was fairly productive. Not pictured… I fixed the bad clear coat run on the top of the driver side fender, and painted the seat frames and pans. Got the tailgate set, along with the gas can holder and spare tire mount… Shot of the internal tailgate reinforcement… The grill needs the bezels (on order from Walcks), but everything else is installed. Fenders are on and the wire harness is in place and partially connected. I need a couple gauges ( on order from Walcks). The final major ‘sub-assembly’ will be the windshield. The glass is being cut at a local shop. Hawk

Drawbar at the rear or pintle and bumperettes? What rear large headed floor bolts did you buy? Those have flat heads instead of domed. You have M38 in your veins my friend.
