Well Lew has a 45 so I thought I would add my 44 to this site, maybe start a trend, (anyone with a 43,42,41,GP). This Jeep is above average in condition, I found it in Roundup Montana 10 years ago sitting in a gentle mans yard, my in laws live in the area so we travel there several times a year but I could never find anyone home, so the routine upon arrival in Roundup was to swing by the Jeep place and see if it was still there. Anyway The day before Thanksgiving 2011 as I rolled into town I stopped at the Jeep house and knocked on the door and to my surprise somebody was there! and after a short visit a deal was struck, the owner did not want it to be com a rock crawler or a mud buggy and wanted it to go to a home that would restore it. I rented a U-Haul trailer to bring it home. The picture is at our place in MN. I will post more pictures later. Thanks for looking, Lee

It is missing many trinkets that either I had or have found but had many small items on it, I need a set of seats, the inner windshield is missing but I have two spares and should be able to make one from three, the hood is the straightest I think I have ever had on a flat fender and a couple 1/4 holes are the only repaires needed. It is very interesting researching the differences in the GPW, as to what belongs on a late 44 and what does not, as I find things on the internet I print them and add to a ring binder for reference. more to come Lee Attachments:

That GPW looks to be in terrific condition. I love the white walls. They really give it a little something extra!! Seriously, great find. Tim

Lew I look at your pictures and think the same, LOL, The rear floor has bigtime sag, and the right wheelhouse is bad as well, I do have the front floor looking pretty good but have to many Irons in the fire right now to work on it!, The 2A is getting some maintenance and a couple upgrades and each step forward seems to take three backwards, LOL.

Lord don't I know it, I am at a complete stand still for lack of parts funds. I was simply teasing you, you know, a good ole fashioned ribbing. You are The Man Sir Leemeister! Whatever you are going through right now, I know will work out...then we see "The STUFF"!
