No new resto photo's, but a very kind gesture by the HG, The GPW itself is a cool project, the dedication to my friend Bob means more to me, I have owned several GPW's, but to do one to honor a friend and his service to our country in a time of war makes it special. HG is an artist as many of you know, and has painted one of his slates for me to honor my project, a very kind gesture on his behalf, this means a lot to me......... Thank you Sir! One more thing to keep the memory of the 350th/347th alive, and honor a group of people who sacrificed so much, for so many........Well done Haines!!! Lee

He drank a whole bottle of Red Ass Rhubarb wine. That would stop anyone from working on their GPW.

He needs a drivers seat, F marked in the center of the backrest. Sorry mine are the quality type--------Willies. I am anxious to see what your sweetie looks like. Lots of years of abuse, lots of work to put it back right. I'm sure pleased with my MB. It's a cool feeling to drive a piece of history that everyone knows what it is. Even 4 year olds are heard to say----Hey look at the army Jeep! You're going 319 or 33070? John

I often wonder what people know historically. When I drive mine, lots of smiles, thumbs ups, "Nice Jeep", etc...
But the most common statement heard is..."M.A.S.H!!!" or "Hawkeye!!!" or "Where's Radar?"

I have done little lately , I do have 5 fresh tires to mount, I have 4 gallons of 319. I have been spending my little right now extra time on my 2A fuel issues and prepping for fall colors tour. I do plan to hit this hard this winter . Lee

Epic event for me as I will meet some of you guys face to face, beer to beer! I met a few already and all I can say is we all seem to be on the same page. If you like old Jeeps, you are in the rut so to speak. Crap, even their taste of beer brand is usually good. So it will be 319. I'd like to do one that color also. I'll wait for the GPW to show up. The one on ebay over in Petersburg New york is to die for. I couldn't ever paint it. It's all original and way way cool. 18 grand and it doesn't run and needs much, is over my head. Would trade for it, but it about 3200 miles of hauling. The fuel alone would be devistating! Signed GPWLeaker

Well it'll get much redder before it gets better. Soooo. Before you start with the Yawn... Perhaps look in your own back yard. Same goes to all of you Bastages! Show me.... Then I will show you... I see no riding , nor driving , from any other than Sir Eric, and Sir Ryan...
