Lets see whats going on my Man...I know you have been back at it No sir, NO PROGRESS  , It's the "Lifes Other Problems deal, it went to hell, the last two weeks have been very unpleasant, there is brite light on the horizon and this problem will soon be behind me, but my honey do list is very long, and you know what comes first. Trust me, my heart is in this (GPW) and time will be spent on it. Lee |

Well I am happy to report, one of lifes hurdles has been stepped over and is now behind me, I have knocked off a couple projects from the honey do list, and am kinda ready for winter. Project RED ASS will soon resume. In past months I have picked up needed parts, a few tools, and after this weekend the Garage should be fairly in order. It feels good to do things I like to do.

Well I could be out in the garage checking out manifolds or working on "Project Red Ass" , but Noooooooooooo, I have to educate the Barney fife of the Jeep police on forum rules and correctness. Ok,,,,,I have named my GPW restoration (as read above) "Project Red Ass", for good reason to be explained later (I like to keep HG in suspense, haha). Also I used the word "Hell" a couple posts above that Barney!, you did not catch that . NOW, as the Scoutpilot said, "We only use words found in the Bible", ASS and HELL are FOUND IN THE BIBLE, Right ;D , and we encourage kids to read the bible, right, so they will read these words there as well. SO I am in complete compliance with forum rules and edict, further more ass is only a three letter word and all blue words are four letter ;D. Lee |

Here are a couple Items I purchased at the MVPA convention last summer in Portland Oregon. A nice used headlite switch and a REAL Ford pintle hitch   Here is the golden F  And the safety chain eyes also are Ford  Lee |

Cool pintle hook! I've been told by Richard a Grace that that F is the largest on the jeep. I need to check my safety bolts and see if they are GPW marked. THAT is cool. Those F script pintle are worth more than gold these days. When I bought my jeep, I didn't realize how fortunate I was to have that part.  |

I am not one that needs every part F marked, but the pintle hook is very cool, I actually purchased it the last day of the show, and was surprised it did not sell sooner, the owner had it marked on the high side and may have scared people off, I lowballed him and ended up paying $250, with the safety chain eyes, I think that was a deal as the eyes alone sell for $25-$30 each for real GPW takeoffs, a lot of money for a hitch, but I am happy and it's the real deal. Watch it Bo, On my next visit to SC, Haines and I will go on a special op mission to your place when your not home, I am sure your wife likes CASH money, her and I will have a little garage sale in Bo's mancave , then my friend I will have real F seats and cheap to boot , And once across the bridge we will be free and clear  Lee  PS, I will get Haines a hell of a deal on those Jeep Jacks at the same time ,LOL and that's all of them  |
