Good men. Today I scored. I saw on the Craigslist a willys truck cut to pieces with a Chevy 285 in it no less. The asking price was steep at 800 bucks but a Koenig winch on the front for a bonus. I called the man up and asked sir will you sell parts. He said if its worth my time. I told him 200 American for the winch and pto and other small parts. He said ok.
Fast forward a week today I go to claim my prize and what do I find but a Koenig winch a pto a WARN Overdrive and the pto to overdrive adapter. 200 bucks later I'm grinning ear to ear. Now it's a 29 tooth od and I need a 26 but a win is a win and x mass came twice this year.
Pictures will be up when I get a chance.

Schimmmmmms, outstanding score, the pto adapter in it'sself is well worth the $200, did you remove everything yourself or did you get the t/c as well?, removing the lock on the overdrive to remove the guts from the trans shaft is a royal PIA. Great find! Lee

Lee. Left the tc in the frame. Called in a few ppl for advice on removal. Joe DeYoung and the hillbilly were my aces in the hole and both gave me the advice needed for this removal.

Excellent score! Now you can make a set of gin poles for your truck and move heavy things around the home place. With overdrive, you can haul engines around at 55 MPH! John
