Checking the forum while I should be working. As soon as I type this I'm headed to the hardware store to buy Jeep parts when I should be working. After that, I'll be driving my Jeep around while I should be working.

Gave a bunch of golf lessons and sweated my arse off. Came home, showered, passed out. Took the kids out for wings and Then DQ. Now I'm fat and happy sitting on the couch craving water. Repeat tomorrow.

I'm readying Bugsey for Bruce's No. Colo. Meet, readying the Oilleaker Inn, and today began painting Herm's small parts that I had blasted and ready. Herm is my 2nd M38. He will have a Koenig full hardtop, two heaters, and STA Super Traxion Mud and snows. Tomorrow, back to painting, session two. I just can't believe how good 33070 OD paint looks. Love that stuff. Oh, I put on a fully operational vacuum wiper on Bugsey. HBR's and Super Sonic will make the trip too! See you there. Just tell the Boss that you have to take a leave of absense! That means you have no sense and are leaving. Oilly

My wife and I are taking the mule team to 1000 Springs state park for an old fashioned farming demonstration sponsored by state parks this weekend..My jeep is hauling in the oat seed for the event. Photo op for a "Jeeps at Work" post

I'm getting ready to go to IHOP... What exactly does this entail? Showering? Shaving? Ironing your Sunday's finest clothes? Old Spice Aftershave? Deodorant? Or just trying to push start the jeep and get on down the dirt road? Hmmm... Complicated process, not for the faint of heart! Waking up early while hungry, getting wife up while hungry, take dogs out while hungry, showering and getting dressed while hungry, helping wife get baby ready while hungry, drive 25 miles past one IHOP and other CHEAPER eatin' joints while hungry to the specific IHOP her mother and grandfather eat every thurs. morning. Finally eating about Two hours later, not hungry no mo'!! Talk about first world problems!! Lol! |

Mooooosey if it matters I was showered up and smelling sweet!, on my way to the Iola vintage military show................ I like pancakes, but they are a natural laxative, come out faster than they'd went in  I'm more of a waffle man |

IHOP waffles pack the same laxative power as the pancakes, only the grid pattern acts as a speedbrake. That'll easily buy you TWO seconds to find a portajohn once you cross the threshold of the establishment after feeding. OOOOOF

Thank you Oilly and Zookiemonster for bringing this conversational topic back around to something respectable. The Cap'n had this thing heading south for a bit.
I'm standing in the golf shop now. I've got about 2 more hours worth of golfers to arrive. Expected high is 99 today. But as hot as its going to be, you guys have me thinking about lattes now! I've been up since 0530 and haven't had a cup of anything.
This should give HG enough ammo to make fun of me for a few posts.
