So, what was done to improve the starter performance? Bigger cables? More grounds? Remove more paint? New starter?
All of the above?

Okay, so, ummm, since this is the thread that discussed the 'Starter Woes', should it also contain the ultimate fix? With details? Sort of a finality?
Just sayin'. Seems a little unruly to make future viewers bounce to 4 different threads while attempting to find your solution.
Don't make me go all "Admin Angry" on you.

The armature was BAD...Eric sent me one. Cables were too small 2 gauge no go made a set of 0 gauge out of welding lead wire. My fiber washer was in the wrong location. On the read of the armature the fiber washer goes on first, then the metal one. works great now... That was a PITA!
