Now that there is Hilarious!!! Plans? Strip and sell anything and everything. Fenders, grill, and hood are great but windshield frame is not even worth the fight to remove it. I wish I knew someone looking for an M38 frame because this one is excellent. Seems odd given the fact that the floors of the tub have all but completely rotted away. I also stripped the seats, tailgate, and what are a couple of either MB or early 2A gauges.

Your landscape looks weird. Where did all the snow go?!
So, you went back for the seats and came home with the jeep. Excellent! Glad that your reputation didn't get tarnished on that one!

that is a cool looking sign. Not sure I could work with enamel and porcelain real well, but I've dabbled with making signs .. made the Colleville s/m sign on my jeep and made a metal Ste Mere-Eglise sign for Moosey's "Warren Peace". Oh BTW I am working on a license frame for HG - "I WISH my other ride was a GPW" ... har har har

I received a tip that there was a "flat fender behind a shed out in the woods" and some vague directions to the location of said shed. Since it was an absolutely beautiful afternoon and I was already driving the 3A, I made what turned out to be a 3 hour ride (2 hours of being lost trying to find it then a direct 1 hour home...) to go check it out. Vintage 3B! The owner was not around but I snapped some spy photos anyways. Nice seats at least... Sunken almost to the frame. It's been here awhile. (Un)Healthy use of diamond plate Hy-Lo pumps not only work well for plows they also make good spider habitat Warns! They apparently ran out of diamond plate and switched to fiberglass repair And I spied this along the way too. Is it a Dodge? I know I've seen them but I can't ID it. Who can?

Ryan, you are a Jeep Blood Hound! That's a CJ3B named USOB ( ugly son of a bitch) Lots of good parts there and it's armor plated!!!!!!!! Get it if it's cheap and part it out, sell the title, etc. You know the drill. Should have dana 44's. Wonder if the F head turns. The plow is a sign of carnage and death. The top looks like a aluminum period after market item. Shipping kills the deal on those. That indeed is a Dodge m37 in the other picture. Looks pretty beat. It weighs 5700 pounds if you are thinking about it. I own two M37's w/winch. I love them. They are my buddies. I need training from you on finding this stuff! Oilly

I'm told the owner of the 3B is a grumpy old vet. I'll need to load up and head out in the M38 next time I venture out that way. And I'm disappointed that truck is an M37 - I thought I would at least be able to ID one of those and obviously I couldn't. Maybe I need to drag a few home so I can get a little more accustomed to them

A M37 is just a big Jeep. Very good old machine. Tough! Oil

Like Oilly said...it's a BIG jeep. And it would look sweet next to your M38.
I think there is a guy in Vermont that collects M37s like you collect jeeps. That's your neck of the woods, right? Maybe that's a budding friendship waiting to blossom.

Vermont is not too far - 5 or 6 hours maybe depending on where he is. 10 hours if I take a Jeep....

Nothing to sniff out around here for some reason. It's just dead these last two years since I got my Jeeps. Parts but no jeeps. Trucks and panels yes and way too much they ask for those. Got one around here I have been trying to find for two years. I find it yet.
Maybe you can teach a class.

I am astonished how you keep finding these. MB time! Cool! The supersonic head is worth having as well.

Upon closer inspection of my pic of the engine serial number I believe it starts with "GPW..."

Maybe reads GPW 82073? If so, that would place the block somewhere in the Nov/Dec 1942 range...me thinks. I don't think she looks too bad! Ditch that hardtop and you are well on your way to an absolute keeper!! I'm trying really hard not to make you an offer once you buy her.

Nov/Dec engine you say? yummy. I totally scoped it for a regulator, but alas. Hey Moosey, we talked about splitting that Jedburg jobby, so keep this on your radar. ha ha! If the gauges are all original count me interested. Don't you like how we're claiming your find, Ryan?

You're a dirt ball, detard. What makes you think this gorgeous jeep should be parted out?! She looks like she needs to be restored! and restored by Ryan!
By the way...Jedburg is keeping his...for now. I've talked to him.

I agree with the restore this one deal. You could probably barter or sell the T90 and Supersonic head. Then get a smooth head and T84. Etc... But you already know this I am sure. We need to see another Sir Ryan build anyways!! Why is it not on your trailer?

This one would be tough to part out but I'm not sure I want another project. I may have to drag it home and think it over

I would love to find a military around here. I have near enough parts to build one but would love to start with whole one like that. Good find and I would fix it up not part it out. My two cents.

It was a joke, totally. This one will again see the bright lights of day restored to its previous glory, I'm sure.
