Nice score. So, are these GPW rings...complete sets? If so, are they for 'standard' size pistons?. If so, are you willing to sell a set to a friend in Colorado? Tim Sure. Will e-mail you.

As of this morning I am the proud owner of this fine piece of equipment. It is pretty much total garbage EXCEPT for the PTO driven Ramsey winch that powers the rear mounted log crane. Unfortunately, I need to take the whole vehicle in order to scavenge the winch. I'm now working up a plan to haul it home.

Oh boy, the Schimmmmmmster will be stiffer than a stove poker over the rear mounted winch! Nice score, 4 banger or a six?

Here's the winch and PTO. The winch says "Ramsey" on it but I'm not sure which model. I didn't spend much time with it. It has a Super Hurricane that supposedly ran up until last summer but now doesn't have any spark. Wheels are locked up so we'll need to figure a way to use his ancient International tractor to load the thing onto my trailer. Should be fun.

Interesting Ramsey. I've not seen one like that. Love the wood floors! And----------Just how in the heck do you find all this Jeep stuff in the snow? Can't believe it. Do you smell it and dig down? When you found the GPW with extended frame--------same thing? Unbelieveable. That PTO looks nice. I have a extra Koenig winch and a rear only PTO. Was on a pickup, rear mount. Been thinking of where to use it. Can't believe how much Jeep stuff is still out there. Treasure. Oil

I got the old beast home today and immediately started gutting it before the urge to "get it running" overtook me. PTO is a Ramsey "PT 1". Winch is a Ramsey something-"200". 4000lb.

The winch and PTO are by far the best items on the truck. The rest is just the usual but super ratty trim pieces and engine components. It all has value but nothing earth shattering. There is a pair of WARN locking hubs that I would like to put on my M38. I started taking them off and bearings went everywhere. Warn hubs will be the subject of an upcoming thread. I'll definitely need help with them!

Picking away at the truck I stopped to admire some of the finest Bubba work I have ever seen. It would be selfish of me not to share it with the rest of you here.

I'm guessing that truck carried a few more pounds than the springs could handle.

Ahhh, but it depends on whether or not the "overload springs" are oak or pine.
