Goose shit welding! That was a big Goose too! Remember Grump, Clean, and solid work, but not show work, or you won't want to drive it. We want driving machines. Ones that don't break down and cause delays. We have miles of smiles to go! Glen Levits too! Can't wait. Oil

I left my phone at the shop last night. Didn't want to drive all the way back over there to get it. Actually Glen and I got busy and didn't get much done, after I got home. I'll leave the show quality work to you

After the Bubba fix. I'm not saying it's the best repair, if you don't look too close it's ok. Paint will hide all the defects. Attachments:

Well, I'm sorry, but it looks entirely too good. Disgusting in fact. Throw some water with salt mixed in and rust it up for a while. ------------ (looking good, just had to insult you for fun.) Oilly

She had better not be another trailer queen. Please describe trailer queen. I will haul it on a trailer if I'm going very far, 70+miles in a Willys on the hiway is long drive. The speed limit here 80 is almost double the top speed without an overdrive. Guess I'll have to get one of them slow movin triangles n hang on the back.

That is exactly what I use my trailer for...when I'm not collecting pallets. The difference between a trailer queen jeep and a jeep is that the queen never gets dirty.

I have never owned a trailer queen. Getting them dirty is what it's all about. Couldn't imagine having a Jeep and not getting it dirty.

P-)Now that the holidays are over, maybe I can get back to work on the Willys. I've been doing a little welding on the tub. Îts almost ready for paint. I'm gonna take some pictures, it's kinda embarrassing. The small amount of welding it needed it should have been done by now.

:-SThe biggest & hardest decision when building a vehicle of any kind for me has always been color choice when not painting the factory color. Factory color of the 3B was dark green, not a bad choice, but I have a green car. The color when purchased was emergency yellow ( fire truck yellow). I look at Binthere's Jeepster that is a gorgeous maroon, that wouldn't be a bad choice. Guess what I'm saying is there are too many choices. If you don't like the color after its painted TS or shell out more $ and have it redone. When you live on El Rancho No Dinero it's something to think about, you want it right the first time.

The General was in a hurry to leave, the snow let up a little and he hauled his new to him 49 WillYs Overland pickup home. My battery was dead in the iPhone or I would have posted a picture of it. I realize that is no excuse but it's my story and I'm stickin to it.
