its still what I'm leaning towards but as said before about length only put on what you need, i think i can get the kind of rope in 50 foot lengths and getting the things on them so you can just add another 50 to it so i could have all 150 or just 50 on the drum, it is a bit of work but not awe full, also then i can add another 50 every year instead of dropping 300 on winch rope right away.

haha i don't think it left anything in the oven, i did a lot of prep to make sure it wouldn't drip onto the pan but my mother was still not happy about it. She claims that the oven didn't taste right but i made a lot of food in it over the next few weeks and nothing seemed wrong. oh well.

Now you can reel in one of those giant Trouts you see on tourist postcards. It says the fishing here in Minnesota is good! The Trout is loaded on a boat trailer in the photo! So, what type, and what is it going on Lee? Ramsey, Koenig, or the rare Ramsey M38 type? John

Ramsey, was listed for sale on the 2A page, mx200r, was off a CJ6 if that matters, pictures look good, will need a freshening up. Now, if I install on the 2A I will need a PTO adapter for the OD, and that's a Husky, where to find that?, OR take the Warn off the 3B and install on the 2A, then install the husky in the M38,,,,,,, Just what I needed, another project, LOL Lee

the combo is a good idea, i just made a new shifter knob for my OD today on the lathe. class got canceled so i spent some time in the metals lab, tomorrow night i will spend a few hours their making some other parts. I'm hoping for my senior project or my metals casting 2 project to recreate some nice dual wheel adapters, aluminum or steel not sure which yet but I'm going to make i think around 4 of them for stuff, should be able to cast then machine them. lee i think i will be there this weekend looking forward to meeting you, as for the heater I'm still kicking around the idea not sure on it yet, i don't know if it will upgrade my system where it is worth the time to install it and cut new holes or if my original one will be satisfactory, maybe down the road i will add another 2 heaters one in each tool box that blows out toward the feet of driver and passenger but who knows.

scott i am planning on doing a lost foam ( or maybe a sand casting but thinking foam) of a custom axle cover for my dana 25. i will do a full write up with photos on here for that. i may do it out of steel or ductile iron now that i think about it but aluminum is what I'm thinking for now. I will start it in a few days or maybe a week, to many projects to much school not enough lab time ha.

Well, tomorrow the Ramsey gets picked up, and starts it's journey west, I am looking forward to it's arrival , Nothing completes a Willys Jeep more than a PTO winch, the 2A will then be a five sticker!, as my buddy Rolf would say (and will). Lee

I lost a slow race at a drive in car show with my '45 MB to a -------------Tractor. I just now thought that I might use a winch at a idle to beat him. What do you think? John

Well, I do not think the slow race people would allow that, BUT, had you used a later model Jeep with 5.38's it would be slower in low low, and back the idle screw off to 400 rpm, one must cheat better than the tractor guys, LOL MHO, Lee
