Lee I'll take a sticker as well. I'll tow my Jeep up to John's just to pick it up.

The snowpack is leaving fast. We still have to get through to the end of March, heavy wet snow storm month, but it doesn't last long. Ellsworth is running fine. Tuffy started right up. We are slowly coming out of winter's slumber and thoughts of Jeeps dance in our heads. Bugsey's tranny now stays in 2nd, and a new face is here: Herm. You can meet him in person. Time to sharpen up the tools and get ready. Summer is coming. I look forward to spending time with all my good friends. It doesn't get any better. Are you ready? Oilly

Leaker, Does Iron Horse allow critters? When I say critters, I mean dogs. I do not mean people from Minnesota.

I think they do. As to number, I don't know. I'd call the number and ask. I would think if they let Lee stay there, your dogs would be most welcome. ( No problem at my place either)

Alot going to happen in the next 8 weeks. As soon as the snow melts, I'm going to begin by going trail riding on Dirty Bikes with my grandson. Got some old gas to get run out of some of the toys. Camper gets loaded and ready'd then off to Fruitland. Back for the BHR, then off to Chuckies. Then two more runs in Colo. Most likely will be changing out worn tires even. Evanston will be put on the back burner until the weather gets bad. Mowing grass all the time and firewood cutting and splitting. Who needs a job anyway. I was tired, now I'm retired. Got to get this done before Hilly is in. She'll need more money to give away, so all of us will have to stay home after that. Remember, we'll take one day of the BHR and go see some real American presidents. It will make you feel good for a day anyway. Fun is here soon. Oilly

Looking good, and yes, I want all three half tracks that were in fruitland. Close to 200 grand worth in my estimate. When loaded and locked------------nobody gives you any crap! As to am I ready, almost. Trying to recover from Fruitland with all the maintenance. Nothing waits and the public never rests. Life moves along at a fast pace and idiots keep screwing with stuff you like. You guys make it all worth while. I'm amazed at the caliber of Jeep people. Green Disease guys are the same. All good. Oilly

Today I started getting ready! Checked/filled fluids, hit all the grease fittings, took off the passenger fender and I adjusted the valves! (All 12 we're probably fine. I loosened them from the "book" .016 to .019 per the studebaker flathead 6 guru, Bill Cathcart.
The fender and tub need some welding before I put it back on.
Tons left to do. I'll try to put in some time after work this week.

Oh man! Thanks, Lee! I'm excited about panic wrenching to get this thing trailworthy! I need to weld/put the fender back on, and change the fuel filter, I want to adjust the brakes, work on a top that might stay on, windshield wipers, stuff like that...

The long range forcast says mid 80's with 30-40 % chance of evening thunderstorms. A normal day for June. We should be back from the trails before the rain arrives. Usually between 4 and 5:30 the wave passes through. Then-------all done. Cool and fresh. Rudycon, I'm happy to provide you with a goal/reason to get your Jeep primed and ready. We mave even prime ourselves-------

Me likes the night rain, it keeps the dust down during the day and the water crossings wet!
