Hey, all y'all East of Ol Man Ruvuh, I got a lead from a longhaul trucker buddy on a company that specializes in transporting vehicles in a double-level covered tractor trailer if you want to get out West to the Black Hills Meet. Add that cost to gas traversing The Nation, and we'd be cuddling up with the snakes and gophers! There's no better way to get to know folks than a cross-country carpool! It would be totally worth the adventure if any of those photos and videos speak one word of truth. Moosey, maybe Mrs. Leaker would let us dig a nice hole to sleep in?

That right there is a hell of an idea!. Also if you cannot bring a rig, there is plenty of empty seats to fill, or you can run along side. Lee

For some odd reason, my preacher failed to see the humor when I told to him... Never could figure him out...

Hey all, just wanted to say Thank You for your support and dedication to coming here for this run. I tried to show you some of my old trails I grew up on, and am glad you all smiled and never complained. I had the job of leading, but I think I had just as much fun as you did. You guys are the best! I look forward to seeing you at other upcoming meets. It's exciting to go trailing with your Jeep, and even better with you guys. The best rolling car show I've ever been to. Oilly

Well actually John, I did have one little issue/complaint. About that Loudest Fan Award Thing..What happened to the day when everyone was MVP just for showing up?? Just cuz I can't bat, throw like a girl, lost the tournament to the school for the Dumb and Dumber doesn't mean I shouldn't be #1 MVP. That blank space I cleared for the award on the wall above my workbench is just screaming "Therapy Sessions with DR Phil!!!!" You guys are SO politically UN-correct. I need my hot water bottle and blankie.. sniff..sniff..

I'm honored. And Ricky, you had a pretty loud fan. You were tied for 2nd. No Bull. But---------Terry's Jeep about broke my ear drums. Fair and square that one was. Got my Oilleaker Inn out of moth balls today. Fixed the shower wand that would not completly shut off. Air still works. Charging up the batteries. Put my extra stuff in and am planning HBR's and Gopher Jerky that Sir Lee left. It will taste so good with Rock Stew. Bruce a Tiny will get their hats too! Can you imagine all our good friends in one spot. That would be the best of the best. You guys all hang tight and come have fun when ever you can. It's worth it! Oil

Old Rum, Old gas, Old oil, and old friends!!!!!!! So, that said, how many friends are going to The Northern Colo. Meet, and The FCT? ? There is no backing out. If you say you will, be there, or suffer the rath of sorrow. Oilly

Going to and coming back from the BHR I stopped at my pal Derek's place in Dillon MT. At age 23 he's already an avid vintage MV and weapons collector. A darned good wrench too. While there I got to play with the Ferret LAV and got a chance to drive the '43 Dodge command car.. COOL!! That's Derek ridin shotgun (more like 50 cal). The plan for next years BHR is i'll trailer the OD MULE as far as Dillon with the 28ft gooseneck and load Derek's MB on the back. You all will get to meet one of the youthful fellows who will carry on when we're old and grey (Binthere). I know you guys wont treat him too awful bad.. I just gotta keep guys like Lee and Hawkridge away from him so he doesn't learn how to drive armor down the stairs

Good looking vehicles. The guns make you feel all protected. I see you are learning about power wagon non synchro gearboxes. The M37 had synchros in 3rd and 4th. The WW2 weapons carriers---------------are a treat to try and drive. Oilly
