I am assuming that means a package should be on my way... I am more than willing to cover the cost incurred. I need my fix ;D

I am currently completely rebuilding the front Dana 25 axle, we talked about this before. ;)There will be a thread added soon dedicated to just Axle rebuilding. Hopefully Sir Hawkridge will be contributing to that one as well. Tonight I cleaned my Front Axle Shafts.....Now they look like this! I took no before pics unfortunately.....Trust me they were as MESS!...2 hour later, not so much. Used Mineral Spirits to clean off all the old grime and grease.

Shiny!! Lookin good HG. I plan on opening mine today. I am hopeful that I will not find a bunch of damage. Because, quite honestly, Whitey is becoming a money pit. Tim

Piece of cake. you will whip that into shape in no time. Go buy a 4x8 sheet of 18 gauge and your good to go. That is actually a very clean tub. Floor boards are easy, hat channels not hard either. Taking the wave out of the rear floor will take some time doing the metal shrink game but that one is 1/4 as bad as my '47 and I got it nearly flat. Give her hell and keep the updates rolling. Kinda like flash backs for me. The outfit I am helping has a 3a in the yard. Covered all over in Rhino liner. Layed over the rust and dents and all. Poor beast, someone should put it down. Lew

Whilst Sir Hawkridge has posted on his Whitey Rebuild thread....I need to assembly something!! I have waited 2 years almost to the day to install these!! Those turn signals were the first thing I restored! I have been at it official for 2 TWO years now!! I am going to post a thread separate from this next pic to show how to Reassemble Headlight Buckets....This is another overlooked topic... This is what Grandpas Grill looks like as of tonight! There are Salt, pits and dings, and imperfections.....BUT I AM MOST HAPPY.... Had to Assemble Something!!!! I opted for the Brass screw ....looks cool!

One of the coolest things I saw on Sir Hawkridges Jeep, was his bare fasteners, and brass details... Copy Kat..? Maybe...but it is still Cool...I want to be like the Fonz!

You're not a copy-cat. That's just a smart decision. Especially in that location I had a heck of a time getting that screw out of my headlight rings. It was rusted solid The brass won't rust. Occasional removal should be a breeze. Thumbs up!!! The park lights on a early 2A are so cool. If you come across a spare lens, I am in the market! Tim

A little more work on the Grill this evening....It is complete, I added a footman loop in black with brass slotted screws. I installed the welting kit as well. That was a lot of fun.
