Haines, do not forget John Denver ;D, I am very jealous as I have to wait a Year and a month, but things are coming together, as I have a truck to pull my 2A to the great state of Colorado and hopefully in the next couple monthes a few of lifes hurdles will come to pass and I will have time to get the skidplate on the 2A and get the engine detailed so it will pass the ridged Haines garage lowland inspection  , Next year will be a "BIG" deal, lots of beer, Bull$%!t, and making real life friends,,,,,,,,,,,,And that's what this is all about,,,Right  . I can't wait to see all the new videos from this event. PLEASE REMEMBER CAMERAS!!!!! Someone needs to have camera contact with jpet 24-7.....
Wish I could go but it isn't gonna happen until I have more $$$$$. Still catching up on things and toys and fun have to wait...(Well the bigger toys do anyhow.)

Well, Diana and offroading do not mix, if we are in the Jeep and I drive over an ant hill she thinks we will roll over, she would have a great time but I think she will not attend, I am working on that! ;D. Camping is not on her favorites list either. Lee |

From what I understand, there are plenty of bed and breakfasts in the area that are nice!! I am camping because I like to play Army, and Cowboy. As well as that what the budget allows...Thirsty Dirt Ranch here I come...Ready Or Not! |

I'll most likely do a bed and breakfast a couple nights if possible, will camp with the Jeepaholics a couple nights as well, One must assume the Willys BS at the campsite is second to none, and you know how I like to BS ;D Lee |

I am flying out from Charleston,SC. The kindness of my Flat Fender Brothers enables me to make this trip. 'Ole Haines will be bumming rides for his Jeep fix, talking smack, and most importantly meeting a very important person to me, in person. I know that the country is beautiful, its the biggest flat fender event on the map!
However Grand the view, I have said from the beginning,and will always say...Its about the People involved. And that is why I am making this venture.
Counting down the days.........

I'm getting really pumped up for the FCT. I'm just as excited to have the famous Haines Garage here in Colorado. For the departure from SC, as the days turn to hours/minutes, I want to see that count down too! 15 Hours...tic toc...4 hours...tic toc...59 minutes...tic toc... 32 seconds...TAKE OFF!!! |
