Steering wheel is interesting, as well as the seat frames. Sir Schimmster is right about the Can Holder.
No 3b expert by a long shot. What are those rims?
Lot of brackets and fasteners. Hood clamps.
Scrap that roll bar.
The white knobs are also interesting.
Lift the hood.
Nice stuff in the back ground as well...

HHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm, the Haines has an eye! . White knobs are weathered black ones, or special order very rare and valuable...........You pick! Steering wheel is stock, and in very usable shape, but is missing the nut, I sent that to Oilleaker for a project. By the way, his WiLL-IS does not leak a drop . Rims are later model Jeep with the hubcap dimples. I like them, Sir Hawkridge does not. I cannot lift the hood..............I am in Colorado The rollbar stays.........I may try a video and that will be my topic ..... I received the inside scoop from jpet tonight................ The seatframes were a surprise, Adolf (German bubba) screwed some old car seats over them, kept'em out of the weather. The passenger seat is a M-38A1 . Drivers is a 3B. Lee

Ava is the provider of the I-pad and I-pad operator. She wants to join the "Haines Garage" as well . Kinda depressing when you need the tech skills of a 6 YO for this . The tub is a royal POS. I will post pictures of the rear axel tomorrow .......... the German bubba was a hack extraordinaire . I did score a few "E-C" bolts and a handful of nice hardware. The Overdrive is an early front shift type, but is stuck, I hope it will clean up. Perhaps I will send the tub to Arvada, CO,,,,,,, Hawkyou for a complete rebuild .

That Jeep was the famous Minnesota Ridge Runner. It had floor drains that rid the user of snow and rain. Special order items from Willis. Willys would never sell that set of options. The roll bar was to hold the options together. So, I assume the frame will soon be accepting a Kubota Diesel and then--------a body of some sort. Oh, I fixed the Colorado damage my Jeep incurred. A totaled front spring U bolt. Cost me 9.01 for a new one. Took all of 10 minutes to replace. I'm quite interested in your Kubota project. Nice pictures lately too! I'm now ready for the next Jeep meet. just have to wait 9 months now. Oil

Willys, willease, Wilhelm................ All the same , pronounced Wrong! . So I have separated the front shift overdrive from the t/c, I was not looking foreword to this, if you have ever taken one off, there is a snap ring and a retainer to lock the nut on the trans output shaft and this is a very unpleasant experience to remove. This one came apart easily in that regard, but from sitting the bearings were rusty and did challenge me to remove. It is in a box on the shelf for a future project here!. More later .

The tailgate chains, the draw hitch, the gauges , cut the dash out, cut anything that says Willys out. Data plates, tags, any part you would think would be worthless will sell and be needed. EC bolts are worthless. Might as well send them to me . I keep a scrap bin.. Tell Ava she is an honorary member of Haines Garage! Named Princess Of the North Land!
I don't think she needs to hear this BS.
Probably more of this !!! Watch the next post. I Love it too .... What a song!!

Your right, on the BS, LOL. She want her picture on the side like papas leave it to beaver, she has no clue who the beaver is ........................ Gages are junk and aftermarket to boot, It is unreal the dash has "NO" added holes, the Wilhelms of the world seem to always add 15 toggle switches and a big old radio hole to most dash panels, this one was spared. Tailgate chain brackets have been gleaned off as well as one tailgate hinge. I have never been around a 3B and there are many differences from the 2A/3A. I did spend to much time trying to make the engine run, I think two valves are stuck, I guess it's just a core engine. And the engine has been removed. I will post pictures tomorrow of the Wilhelm rear axel bubbification,,,,,,,,this thing either hit a landmine or very temporary repairs were made on a hasty retreat from a far eastern city , I've never seen anything like it!. Lee Was I reading correctly that you removed the overdrive, and have it stashed for another project? I am on the search for an overdrive for my 53. Just thinking out loud. chuck

Bubba = Wilhelms of the World! Oilleaker,,,,,,,,,,,,, exactly! ....... Wilhelm Whisperer Hack extraordinaire Chuck,,,,,,,,,, The overdrive will go back into this project.......... well what this project turns into . I will keep you in mind if I find another . Ok, here are the pictures! Check out the muffler, I will get back to this! Check out the spring pack............. This is the good one . How does one break all of them? Take note of the wood block............ And the wire in front of it! Here is the left rear springpack , "Gone/Missing in action/History!. What happened to the front part?, Wilhelm must hace taken it off to install the #9 wire/wood block setup. It must have hit a landmine/IED Enjoy!
