Great video.
Either way, sorry buddy. the head comes off. It's either a blown head gasket or a bad valve. Looks like a valve to me.
Gmcjr might be right. Just air in the heater core working out. Blown head gaskets in my experience result in a lot of bubbles. Sometimes volcanic eruptions. I would expect volcanic with 0 compression.
Still. Get the head off. Have it machined flat. Check the block for flatness. Then double check those valves while you are that deep in the engine.

Here is your weekly update: Pulled number 1 piston. One of the compression rings was stuck in the valley. Removed and cleaned it so it would expand. Cylinder looked great; not much carbon removed at the top, either. Reinstalled piston. Removed #1 exhaust valve (never liked that one originally) and replaced it with a good takeout. Lapped it and installed. Check the gap on the other 7. (McLovin the rule of 9) Placed a steel straight edge across the block in various spots. Appears level. Found two cracks in Oily's ( ) number 1 common crack spots. Since they both begin and end in the water jacket, I'm not going to mess with them. Perhaps put a wee bit more thread sealer on those bolts. Machinist found ZERO cracks in the head. Is going to mill it. Should have it back in a few days.

You did get it running and you did find the #1 problem. I'm still a little bit weary, tho. Never did find for sure the cause of the exhaust gases in the coolant. Unless it was a combo of sorts. I took my flat edge to the head prior to dropping it of at Simmons. It appeared that in the center of the head it was not flat, but a little bit concaved (that's a big word and me an HG aren't too sure of its meaning, but we think it might mean that it dips inward.). That area was near where the two cracks are and close to where the original gasket was failing. Who knows. I guess I'll put it back together and see what happens. By the way...Simmons called this after. (I answer their call, Haines). The head is done. I like a lot of head...on my Guiness.
