C'mon...get going on this. I'm excited! And for 2016, somebody plan a jeep convoy across SC/NC at all of the remnants of the Carolina Maneuvers. Somewhere I read that they built some impromptu defensive positions during the war games.

Excited myself. I need to know more about this event to come up with some ideas. Especially from some who have been there. We need to make this a time to remember for us who are going as well as for those that have come back to remember their time there as well as to remember those who did not. I plan to meet as many veterans as I can and interact with them as well.
And the drive to the Helen. I have my German stuff from when I was in Germany for that. Wanderhosen, German Hat, Volksmarsch Jacket. If only I could find that pic of me wearing it back in 1979.

Okay, I have a suggestion to throw out there. When we do the parade, how about we do it looking like we have been to "Hell and Back"? Dirty, tired, worn out. Uniforms and vehicles as well. People always show soldiers on the clean side. How about we show them the return from battle side.

Great Idea! I'll tell you what. You and I can beat the living Crap out of the Moose, Drag him in the GA Red Clay, Make him run until he throws up! Then Fire our 1911A1s off in his ears! He likes stuff like this! I think honestly it is a Novel Idea...But I am not Shitting Up My Seats!
