I think we are all adults here. Hmmm... And I can take a joke with the best of them. Did it in the Army and that was an experience. We are a special breed. All in fun. In times of stress joking keeps up alive. It helps even in the most dire of times. Some of us have personal lives that keep us from posting regularly. This can cause doubt in what we have posted and how people construe it.

I'm only an hour away from there That's good ! Next year. A lot if planning to do. . Will involve a meet and ride . I am hoping to incorporate some of the jump shows , and especially the museum . Would be a great place for the KJRT secret meeting. |

Okay folks, we need to stay on top of this. Lots to do to get ready for an epic event. Plan now to attend. You will never regret it. Our greatest generation will not be around forever. We need to have special awards and small events for our own group that will be there. Things that will give personal and special long lasting meaning to this historic time in the history of the 101st Airborne.
Lets start a list of suggestions that we can go with. We need to represent in a way people will not forget. And in a way that they can be involved with as well. For we will be there for them to remember those that came before us.

We need to find out a list of events already scheduled so we can plan what we are going to do from there. We need to schedule a time in there for our own personal gathering and awarding of trophies we plan to give out. Again we need areas of these type of awards. They of course will be Haines Garage Awards per se. Places to stay, hopefully close together. Plans for Hell in Georgia. And so on. Convoys. Getting the word out to get as large as possible of commitment. |
