I am not against it. And often when going to car shows and anything with my jeep dress the part so people don't forget. So I am with you Bo and HG. Also looking for more WWII stuff for the Jeep. There is a 70 mile yard sale on US21 south of Wytheville, VA tomorrow and going to check that out. Need a WWII shovel and whatever else I can find. Wife is in as well.

I don't think we could get that many GP Medium tents. There were two for sale at the yards sales I visited last weekend. But he wanted $450 each.

As for the GP Mediums, when we were doing maneuvers in Germany at Hoenfelds, our tent caught on fire and we barely made it out on time. I couldn't sleep in a tent for months after that. I slept in my sleeping bag with my shelter half over me for fear of any tent catching fire.

I'm fine with Major. Just a play on my real rank and my "bestowed" rank. My Drill SGT in basic was actually a Bird Colonel but they didn't need that may officers after Nam he had to take a rift in rank to retire. He still got Bird Colonel pay though. He was one short tough SOB.
