I've seen that picture before but I have never really looked at it. Did you guys see the note regarding the tires? Interesting. I am not sure I have ever seen a wartime picture of a stateside jeep with civilian rims. I have learned that sometime during the mid portion of the war, it was authorized for the Ben Hur trailers to have civilian tires...even in combat zones, since they didn't provide any additional traction while being towed. (don't ask me why I am learning about Ben Hurs!  ) |

The worst I've done was to pull the F bolts off of the Rustbucket and move them over to Warren Peace just prior to Rusty's sale. You'd thought I would've done that when I discovered the bolts during the tear down period. |

No esta Moosey von der Ville in this case. By the way, I came across a small bucket of F-bolts in the garage while I was ripping up stuff - off to eBay I go! LOL
Or mebbe I just keep em all, and periodically swap some out on HG's Wullus when he's busy polishing his nuts ...

Don't waste your F's on that Chai Latte, Detard! He doesn't desreve the blessed F. I've got a better plan for him...I'm going to take my swanky little block F stamper from Harbor Freight and bank lame-o F's into all of his bolts...and especially his polished brass nuts.
