I talked with my friend at the shop. What is it you seek in a 45? Remington Rand, Colt, Ithaca? Name your poison. Unfortunately, WWII 45s are through the roof! I always wanted an Ithaca..... ? Well, if you are putting in orders, I'd take an m1903 or m1917 on the super cheap.

Negative. Rear sight would have been set to "B" for battle position. Aim a liitle low up close, a little high farther out. A one stop shop for sight adjustment. A very cool gun it is! Oilly Sounds like Good old Tennessee elevation to me! I think you refer to Kentucky Windage my friend.

I think you refer to Kentucky Windage my friend. No, windage is just that, holder a little to the right or left to compensate for wind, or Kentucky Windage........ Now if your pulling up or down as to not upset a preset known zero, that's Tennessee Elevation, so described to me by a distinguished marine hi power rifleman......... Why, l can only guess, but would assume the folks from those fine states are poor counters and are not able to count clicks on the rear sight, or as the Chi-Com hoards are swarming at you by the thousands in sub zero Korea the fine fellows from the two above mentioned states did not take time to adjust their sight for obvious reasons and were very successful at hitting the targets......

Let’s hear it for both! Without them Sgt York wouldn’t have been able to do what he did.

Prof, you're right that's one studly Patriot. Spartanburg city centre has a feature called Morgan Square, named after him, and he's perched proudly on a column. I had so much fun helping my boys learn the history of the Colonies before and during the American Revolution... So much of that history was driven from right here in South Carolina, too.
