So I went to my tow mans lot. Here's what was there. I had to leave early because a tow call he had. I am considering as purchase and sell off the parts. A few things that I might like to keep, but few. I am guessing 46 on the 2a M38A1 was covered. F head engine.

The metal work on the CJ2A looks easy---------there isn't any. The big upper tank is M38A1. Hard to find. The A1 looks post '52 and the bottom of the windshield is toast. Does he have titles? Oilly

I'm thinking the same on the frame Captain. Battery tray is good as well. It's hard to sell a whole frame the cut offs however not so much. Here's something nuts!!! NDTs are not that bad. I need three, one for a spare, two for the Bantam! Problem is I will buy this Beatch and want to keep it. Is there any market for Artic Tops? Doors are missing I believe. I am going back tomorrow to look again... I told the Mrs. She needed to restore the M38A1 with a Buick Dauntless. She actually didn't Balk....
S O A B!!!! I gots it bad!

The hood on the 2a is nice, as the grill? Never sold those... Value?
It has the buckets , trim rings , Cochran Brown Turn Signals. Original inner lollipops!!! With the spur!
What do y'all think this heap is worth, before I tell you what he wants for all of it.

How about that F head? Can Jeffer's use it for his F jeep? I bet it's an easy conversion he can do while he waits/hopes to get his will-is engine fixed.

The grills are worth more as man cave art than a Jeep grill. The best part of that is you remove the parking lights and sell on eBay and the man cave folks don't know the difference, any you double down! The Arctic top is no huge value, I had trouble getting $100 for the one I had. Frame horns and bumper $125-$150 Tailgate $50-$75 4 M series wheels $60-$75 ea so $240-$300 4 2A wheels $200 A-1 seat frames $200 The rest my friend, is gravy.

I sold a '46 grille on eBay earlier this month with headlight buckets but no parking lights for $179. I consistently get $150-200 for them in any condition. I sold an NOS M38 grill today for $229.
Fenders: $60-80 but tough to sell as shipping is brutal.
Hoods: $150-ish but, again, tough to ship.
Tailgates: Wall hanger grade $40 all day long. Much more if they are useable and that one appears to be.
F-head would make a good boat mooring in the HOA pond.
If that stuff were up here I'd be dragging it home for $400...$500 tops but probably not. You will make money if you can get it for that but it will be a very labor intensive endeavor as you well know.
If you are keeping this stuff for your own project it may be worth more to you.
Go get it Haines!!

I think I will. Fun Fun Fun!!!! He will bring it to me on a flat bed! He owns a tow truck company. I am scurrying to make room in the garage. I will probably get attached to the M38A1.... I need to go see a Doctor. This is not the smartest thing I ever did. But my gut tells me grab it....

F-head would make a good boat mooring in the HOA pond. LMAO, pretty much my opinion as well! I also agree it's lots of work separating the good from the bad, but it's been awhile since mr HG has pulled the trigger on a Willys parts rig and it's killing him!, LOL...... One plus to the 2A is the body is gone and they suck to scrap, and there are a plethora of small goodies there as well.

Too bad Haines. I went to check out a 3A with a Dauntless V6 and a Warn OD the other night. It has a silly fiberglass tub but at that point I don't think it really matters. Would be a great wife mobile or parts donor for whatever it is you end up with. It's on ME CL right now. While you're up here getting that you can grab the '45 2A tub I have sitting in the driveway since you'll be needing one as of tomorrow.

Yeah there is... Did you notice the footman loops on the hood? What's that all about?
F head has some good parts as well. Military canister and bracket. Cover , pan, if it's not cracked it will bring some dollars. If I did do a project, I would Insert a Dauntless 225. Built !!! That is bad ass!!!

If the bottom and sides are not pin holed, 150.00 would be a guess on the A1 gas tank. The F Head is missing the rear head bolts so it's been apart and looked at. Probably not good. They crack pretty bad between cylinders. Haines, your HOA will be impressed. The stuff and the wrecker pictured in front of your house will be on the front page of the HOA newsletter.

Isn't the footman loop on the grill to strap the windshield to the hood? I've seen that on other jeeps. Oilly...spot on about his HOA! Lol And dang...we were just chatting on a different thread how long it'll be before his next jeep rolled in. I don't think anyone picked 1 week. Man, now Hawkridge is going to get pissed at you for neglecting that trailer!

Correct Moosey. The rear side footmans were used by bubba as hood hold down points for the rear bubba hooks. Oilly
