Looking for members to share the locations of the Tail lights in your Jeep.
I need to do the double for two reasons, one legal, two SAFTEY! Three because I like it.
I was thinking of recessed.
Please share pics and specs that you have, or how you did it.

The lights I used were from Northern Tool and Equipment. I replaced the 12v bulbs with 6v. They were about $9.50 each.

Very Nice!! Now, if one were to try and do that with a civy tub?
Also my friends, need to see some other options as well as factory configurations.
Let's see Em!!

This was a civy tub. The recessed panels fit right where the spacer panel goes for the tailgate. It's just mine was DJ and the rear panel is full and goes seam to seam. The inner wheel wells are the same. Just no brace for a spare tire. Here is a pic to show you.

These are tail lights that were standard on the Gamma Goat. An interesting vehicle, but by most accounts, another military failure. These are the same design that were found on an M38, but without the "blackout" style lenses. I chose them for an authentic look, but with good size red lenses for safety. For your rig, I think I would consider the MB/GPW style, but use the driver side lense style on both sides. These are a bit smaller than mine. Tim

One more... This is also easy to modify. It has three 24 volt bulbs that can be switched to a standard 12v 1157 bulb. I left the 24v bulb in for my running lights. It stays a little dimmer than the 12v bulb I used for the turn signals and brake lights.

By the way. I loved my Gamma Goat.
Are the openings the same size for the light as the MB/GPW?

I don't know if the hole is the same size. I think these holes were 4.5"...maybe 5". I can't remember off hand.

I just watched a youtube video of the Gamma Goat in action. Now I want one. Looks like there is a fully restored Goat on eBay right now. $40,000.00

I drove them for four years and never ever got one stuck no matter how hard we tried. But noisy.
