Absolutely loved the video. Looks like Cher has had about enough of this video parade. I'll bet she's actually happy to see the big smile on your face. Parts wise, hopefully everything is to your liking. I too wanted to thank the folks here at Haines Garage. A very special group of guys. Tim

Truth is like I said before, this whole thing is a real tear drawer for me. I am just astounded that all of you would do this for me. I am again most thankful. I want to make a special plate to preserve this gift on my jeep.

I'm wondering about you now after watching the video. How far can you throw things when you're mad? I see you have a melling oil pump. There have been a few who have installed the oil pump and tightened the bolts that hold it in and didn't know the end plate of the pump was too tight against the inner workings. It galled, locked, put metal into everything, and then seized breaking the inner gears and-------------camshaft drive worm teeth. Make sure it's got the right end plate gasket thickness. Second: I don't see the rivit head in the timing cover hanging on the wall that means it has the stud to hold the chain drive camshaft in place. Check it. I'm as you now know paranoid about engine failure. It sucks . I've had it. Not fun after all that hard work. By the way, I can throw failed stuff a long, long way. I don't hold it in. People can get hurt when I find the bastage that failed me, and cost me. I could win the stone throw in the olympics at that moment. oilly

I'll be in Mt P this morning for a soccer. If I bring the cam bearing, will you stop dancing on video?

So how to check the plate gasket thickness. I thought Melling was a premier parts manufacturer. And the timing cover on the wall is not the one I am using. That was from Grandpas original gear driven. It is now a restored piece of wall art. I have the correct one with the pin in a box, all cleaned up and painted ready to go. I love it how you are looking out for me. Thank You. Now DONT WORRY ABOUT MY VIDEO!! CANT A GUY JUST DO A HAAPPY DANCE? GEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZ!

Put some bolts through the long holes and the end cap and tighten them out of the engine. If it still spins nice, you are good to go. I think there was a batch that dragged when they bolted them in the block and got fooled because it turned easy before they bolted it in. Stupid simple really. Yes, I'm trying to watch out for you. It's a sad day when you work real hard to make it right and some stupid simple thing wrecks the whole job. Oh That's A stands for The grade of engine. A grade A Willleeessse! LOL, John
