Restoration? It is far too perfect for restoration! I mean that is genuine WWII green paint bub! (seriously, I'm not sure if the collector types would get mad at me for repainting it.)
So far it has been off-gassing petrochemicals on the back deck on sunny days. I have sat and admired the leaves preserved and plastered to the bottom of the can.
I reckon it is time to try to clean it up and put it to use. Otherwise, it is just a metal can with my name stamped in it!
Another fear is that the Rudycan, along with my 1945 e-tool, represents a good start on a green flattie!
