Sounds like the unmistakable...and wonderful L-134 engine to me. Certainly no knocks.  Like mine, it's just a little tappet noise which I think will be present unless you do a complete valve job. Tim |

I thought so. Been with modern engines so long and two-strokes that an old motor seems strange to me now. Sold my GS1150ES as I thought something was wrong with it. Hadn't had a fourstroke motorcycle in 20 years. Took it apart 5 times and nothing wrong. It does go well on the road. People like the sound when I go by.
