I put on my new replica Military one two months ago. Today in town it started acting up. Like not getting fuel. I tightened down the bowl and all was well. You may have to tighten it after awhile as the cork seal gets wet from fuel. My 58 Oldsmobile was the same way.

Awaiting your report Sir, Sir Eric... You can't beat the deal at ECWA . $39.50 delivered . I got mine as well . Looks good ! I was hoping to buy a Scout Pilot built one, but he doesn't participate here so ...
Maybe we draw him in... Good ole boys from NC !!!

That's a fantastic price. The replica Military was $70, but that the priming pump which is nice to have.
Just a reminder, if air gets by the gasket it will cause fuel problems.

This one has a divided bowl, interesting design, I can see where a leak in it would effect both the in and the out, or the suck and the blow, however you want to look at it... Uh ohh, I foresee a wise crack from the Moosey now.....

My replacement from Walcks is the same. I do like the double check valves, I do not like the fact that they are on the bottom where the trash ends up. Lee

Those double action pumps are a bitch to get the bolts started because of the stronger spring action. The military double action pumps have a spacer and two gaskets to deal with---------very tough to put on. Make sure you rotate the engine so the cam lobe is at it's lowest point when installing. That bowl gasket adsvice is spot on. I ran out of gas three times and had to systematically eliminate the no fuel issue until I found it. Oil

The facts have been presented . According to my manual the pressure test, the gage should be 16" above the pump at 1800 rpm. I think they are too picky . My bowl never seems to fill either, I ran nearly 40 miles last night and ran perfect. Lee
