front axle parts id

hello all.
I was wondering about a part that I cannot seem to id.
It is a bushing that comes off of the front axle of a 48 cj-2a
After taking off the differential cover and removing ring gear and spider gears.
Then I removed the inner oil seal.
The bushing I am taking about is behind the oil seal.
I have been told that it is the spindle bushing. 
But it did not come off the spindle.
I looked at the dana 25 rebuild thread and noticed the spindle bushing in the photo had no flange.
This bushing has a flange and is flared on the opposite end.

Hi Thanks for the response.
Cant seem to get the pictures to  load.
Im trying.
Used a new camera and thought i had it down.
the photos are more and 1mb and can't seem to figure it out.

Sorry everyone, I try to attach a photo but get an error message saying the file is to large, more than 1MB.
Thanks for the diagram I have them and the manuals.
Ill keep trying to load the photos.
But maybe some questions might help.
First does the spindle bushing #10 in the above diagram have a flange on it?
It does not appear so in the photo.
Is there a 2nd bushing that goes inside the axle tube just behind the inner oil seal?
The piece in question was located inside the diff housing after removing the ring and spider gears.
Then remove the inner oil seal and the piece then fell out.
It is obvious that the axle slides thru it just before it slides thru the oil seal.
Any way thanks for taking the time to help investigate this mysterious piece.
