A must have tool for flatties! That's a good one. I have a blue point one similar. I guard it. I bought mine at a antique store for 20 bucks. Oil up the threads and tuck it away. You'll need it again when you buy the next line up of Jeeps you are going to collect! LOL John

Mine is a K-D tools model I purchased in high school, I think they are still available ?. The sunnen brand makes it a classic and I would say $25 or thereabouts. Lee

Well I hope $26 was not the asking price . My dad used to say, "Never never pay what they are asking" as the fun is in the hageling down . Lee

It was the bid price on eBay , I was willing to go to $44.00. Like I say, I have seen these go for much higher numbers ! I am glad to have it, and mine is way cooler than Sir Moose a dunks!!!

Really Haines, really? You are going there? I'm pretty sure ours are the exact same except for two minor differences: 1. I bought mine on eBay, too, but I got a second substandard VSC, too. I sold that to the guy with the M37 at Tim Scott's Korean War event for $20. I might've paid $20 plus shipping for the pair. 2. I have ACTUALLY used mine on a jeep engine. A real jeep engine at that...1942 GPW motor. Now, got adjust your own @ss valves.

Here is mine, HG. Sorry it took so long to get the picture up...I had to do a lot of rummaging through tool boxes and pouches to find it. It is right next to my favorite tool: the Bonney brake spring tool.

Very nice Sir Golfs a lot
Impressive ... Most impressive .... But you are not a Jedi yet!
I propose a visit to see you in Summer town. There are some things I see there that you need to be relieved of...... And I still have plenty of Black Spray Paint.....
And it is Willis !!!!!

Old post I know but I'm grasping at straws. I need a valve spring compressor for my Willys Flathead 226. Rent/borrow or buy. Can't find one anywhere.

There are several on eBay right now. Just search for "Sunnen Valve Spring Compressor".
