I soaked in parts cleaner, for a week , my L134 Oil Pick Up assembly. Note these tabs, they have to be GENTLY! Pried loose. Like this.. Here is what you will find inside!!! Pull straight out the screen you can with your pinky...(Sir Moose, Your Thumb ) My Screen has holes in it...IT IS JUNK!!!!!! Don't argue, it is! This is the crud I scraped out. Note the rope style "gasket" that goes between the two halves So, Soaking does you no good my friends, you have to take it apart...That's What Haines Does

I will add, the Bypass type oil filter is worthless, if all that crap let go its headed right for the bearings, and maybe 10% to the filter. MHO Lee

Don't see and "F" mark. MB? Give that man a Cigar! Actually VEC CJ2A motor, I believe it to be an MB engine, although some Gurus might want to argue. Look those floats up on the G503.

The coolest is when you find the oil dip stick baffle in the pan. You can weld it back on. Funny how few of them are still on the sticks. John
