I am thinking of ordering an exaust system hanging kit from Walcks. It includes all the brackets, u bolts, etc. Has anyone ever used one of these kits?

Both exhaust systems I've installed were from Kaiser Willys and only had the generic hangers. I installed the one on my M38 today. I've seen the Walcks ones of their site but never in person. The pictures look pretty though.

I've bought three complete exhaust systems from Walck's. I'm a fan of this kit, but it doesn't come with the authentic looking hangers. I've seen them on the Walcks site. I agree with Ryan. They look nice. If Walck's is supplying them exclusive, then they are probably awesome.

When I inherited the Jeep, I found a brand new tail pipe in Grandpas attic.
I purchased the actual muffler from Walcks.
I am going to order the install kit.
Any problems using the clamps to hold the pipes together?
Should I weld Thom instead?

Mine work fine with clamps alone. Just make sure they are tight enough. I blew a recently adjusted tailpipe off the 3A due to a loose clamp. I turned around, burned my fingers picking it up off the road, reclamped it, and haven't had a problem since

Just like a cylinder head and some other things, when you get it all together, warm it up good, and then re-tighten all the clamps while warm. BW
