Uncle Rudy while a young man of 17 in Holland was dressed up like a girl to keep hidden from the Germans and being conscripted in the German Army. He then moved to America with my Moms whole family to Monroe Michigan. Rudy then joined the Army and fought in Korea.

Dad was German and was Hitler Youth during the war. Was supposed to join and Anti Aircraft Battery at 13. The war ended the day before Dad's 13th birthday. He came to America in 52 and met Mom. Wasn't very well received by Mom's family till they got to know him. Mom is from Bennebrook Holland and Dad was from Dortmund Germany. Mom's maiden name is Lommerse.
