Hi Lee! No, never. I have ride in Willys, Willys-Hotckiss M201 and Viasas, but never in a Bantam BRC 40, Ford GP, Willys MA...ouch!!! No, in Spain you could find the most common Willys-Viasa CJ3Bs with diesel engines (Barreiros or Perkins) and also some of them with Go Devil or Hurricane gasoline engines. Also, Willys-Viasa CJ6, which is an enlarged version (35cms.) of the "high hood" or "morro alto" CJ3B. This could be equipped too with similar engines. I think the first units of CJ Spanish made jeeps were launched to the market around 1960 or 1961. Those models were first manufactured by Viasa with Willys license, then Ebro and also comercialised by Avia. Same company manufactured the Spanish jeep Comando, local version of the Jeepster Commando C101, motorized with diesel engines too: Barreiros and Perkins. Although a few units were sold with its American engine, the Hurricane, if I´m not wrong. But the story of Willys jeeps in Spain started around 1946, with firts CJ2As models being imported through Canada as "agricultural machinery" by Spanish government. Due to UN embargo to Franco´s regimen, this was the only way to get some modern vehicles. Then, at 50s, the Spanish armed forces received the first batch directly from the US, as Willys MBs, Ford GPWs, M38s, M38A1s after the Korean war, due to the MDAP agreements ("Pacto de Madrid", 1953). Units of civilian models, as Willys CJ3As and Cj3Bs, were also bought for the Spanish army. At the 60s, the Spanish armed forces began to get some modern CJ3Bs and CJ6s from Viasa (later Ebro), which substitued their american brothers. And those´re the typical jeeps that you could find here, due to the interest of collectors and "aficionados". Many of them were sold as scrap years ago, and bought by farmers, garages, etc. as they were fantastic for hard work. And although battered, they accomplish new services for their new owners! You can imagine how many stories they could tell us if they´ll speak!!! Obviously, those last years, people have bough other units at European countries, as France. And so, you can find here ex-French Armée jeeps, as Willys-Hotchkiss M201s, and JH101 or JH102. And also the civilian versions of French "high hoods". Ah! I don´t want to forget that Mahindra also sold here their vehicles during 80s and 90s, but with little success. They have a lot of problems with the European enviromental legislation and their engines, and they imported their jeeps to Greece, to change there the engines for a Peugeot one, I think. Lately, they have tried again with their Mahindra "Thar" (kinda CJ5). More or less, that´s all! I hope that you don´t get bored with this... Cheers, and keep´em rolling!

Roberto, simple idea on the cups and they will sell on the jeep sites well. What about T-Shirts too? You could do each model of Jeep starting with the MB/GPW all the way up. I like the front on the front and rear on the back idea. John

Hi John, Did you say t-shirts!? :-D This is probably one the most cool pics I have received from one of my customers!!! Mr. Gerald Oswald (who sent me the pic) and his friend Bob (wearing one of my tees´) at the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival! I´m really proud of this!!! The one devoted to the Willys CJ3B jeep is sold out, sorry. It was a limited edition. And if you want some custom ol´ skool subjects too... Those´re only a few samples of my items. I do limited editions for groups of friends, clubs, sport teams, etc., etc. and also, "big" editions, too! I mean, i.e., that you want a t-shirt with a cartoon of you posing with your jeep, 4x4, bike, etc., there´s not problem at all. Cheers, and keep´em rolling! And excuse me for the pub...ouch! BTW: If you have Facebook, you can find me here at R. Flores Facebook site

I am very impressed with his work as well , I think if Roberto moved to South Carolina the shipping would be much cheaper , How about we do a group order to save on shipping ? Lee

Great Idea!! It is sad when the shipping cost more than the product offered. I am thinking the Cafe Press thing. Roberto?

I´m shocked! Sincerely, I just can´t imagine such interest for my work!!! Well, I suppose one of the better options is a group purchase, of course. But please, be patient, and give some days to fix some issues. And again, many thanks to all of you!!! Keep´em rolling!
