Sometimes I'll man up. That guy had no business sending that email. It really torqued me to read it. Like I'm the only one peddling junk on that website!? I told my wife about it and she just said, "Kill him with kindness." IF he replies, I'll let you's guys know.
Hey...what were we talking about here? I forgot.
Bo!

Hey...my CO guy wrote me back. Wonder if it's Lew?! He is an EXPERT!
Here is his latest eBay email, copied exactly as received:
Dear pgabo,
I have an older armature restores 1942 Willys, really very nice, but it is an early restoration and they did some bondo work where repair panels should have been used(the side tools), and those need replaced, but the mechanic work and parts and on it are quite old military, must have been done from a original jeep not stripped out. My other jeep I picked up in Del Norte, Colorado is an early 1942 GPW#6601 with most of the Ford Parts still on it, I am missing some items, but I pick them up as I can. It has a Willys head on the engine, and I found a very decent Ford engine locally, brought it home, then I started wondering, what engine was in my jeep with the Willys head, it turned out to a Ford, so I an extra Ford Head. I also have a decent rolling chassis Ford and another unrestored 42 Ford Jeep that needs much attention, but the body is pretty decent. These were going to be a project before I picked up the complete 42 GPW in Southern Colorado, so I will eventually sell the extra stuff. I have had jeeps since I was 16 years old(well civilian) and I am in my late sixties now plus other antique cars, more antiques that sense.
- wcolo
He confuses me! I couldn't get past his first sentence. I think he pronounces it Will-IS and he lost me. But, nonetheless, he is playing nicer. And that's what the bond with us jeepers is when we aren't flinging poo and EASE or IS at each other, right?
Speaking of that, I might sell my mud blood hybrid GPW (that's tainted with MB). Then I'd have a full breed GPW and let you corn ball Willyz boyz bicker amongst yourselves on how to pronounce the name of your jeeps!
Haha, Bo!

Somebody mention jacks? I have these in the house ready for everyday tasks like leveling cast iron bathtubs, lifting cabinets, or holding down the china closet.

Lee Heck the only one I know for certain what it is for is the OD green one. I would assume a Kaiser Willys product of some sort but really, I don't know if Willys was the only one using Spun Steel jacks or no. I've never seen the pickup guys discuss jacks like the CJ guys do. I'm betting the tall one is for a pickup of some type or maybe even a FC. Funny thing, I have more of these jacks somewhere else too, with yet another top style. I think I have bought most of the permutations of bases, tops, and lengths in search of the right one.

First off, I will preface this that fbill is my friend and in no way is this post intended to offend him...but for this other pair of left hand threaded lug nutz...I don't care about being offensive... Yeah, I sold my too tall jones jack with the oddball non-cup because it wasn't a jeep jack and it certainly didn't belong in my WW2 motor pool of jeep accessories. The origin of that jack (owned by myself and others alike) has been asked across forums throughout the world and nobody has an authoritative answer backed by proof as to what vehicle it belongs to. I will say this, I do regret selling it. It is soooo goofy looking, it would've been perfect in Haines's Garage! Did I use that apostrophe correctly or will that lurking Uber-grammar nazi tell my English teaching wife?

Moose, I am glad I still have my extra tall jeep jack, I have recently found out they are special to the Bantam BRC 40 four wheel steer, and are a "Name your price Item", If the rumor is true I may be able to retire early on the sale of two jacks Lee IYDLMSGFY

There are a few post war CJ jacks listed on eBay right now. Go have some fun.
By the way, I went to the flea market today and found a #2 shovel. Bought it for $3. What's up with the shovels lately?!

What happened to the one that was once upon a time rattling around in the back of your truck? It wasn't the tradition square/rectangle base screw type.

Go back to my post with the G503 link. Click it, read the description and look at the pictures of the MZ (radio) jeep jack. Your's is similar. I thought it was for the M38/A1s.
