XR 600! We are drifting again! I assume that is a Honda you are talking about. My son in law has one and I've ridden it. It's tall, and goes fine as a dual purpose machine. Electric start, and universal tires. Popular bike. signed Bikeleaker

And then there is the GT750 Waterbuffalo. My personal favorite. Did Sturgis once before I left Wyoming. What a hoot.

What makes you feel old is when you ride your XT 500 Yamaha to your grandson's motocross race and people gather around to look at the "old" bike. I should enter it in the fossil class. Frankly, my XT is what you are looking for. Power, decent suspension, easy to get on/off, but you better be adept at kick starting. I used mine to pre-view the Black Hills run Jeep trails. Now that was fast and fun. I'll let you try it out if you risk entering the Black Hills. The Indians here still kill any white man that doesn't carry a 45-70 Springfield and a Single Action Army Colt!

Never ran across a western Canadian I did not like . My dad used to go to Saskatchewan duck and goose hunting and made many friends there. Some would come to our place and visit, very good people! Lee

I remember doing the Bicentennial Wagon Train to Pennsylvania back in 1976 (still have the patch). The Indians threatened to come down and attack the train. We had Feds all over the place. After the Grattan Massacre at Ft. Laramie the Ogalla Sioux move up to South Dakota.

Alright you Pirating Bastages!!! Nice try from all to divert from the true meaning of this thread!!! Nice try , but no cigar!!!!
Two thing we learn that are important though !
The General, The Major , and the Captain are all motorcycle Bad Asses. I did my thing with the Street Bikes , and maybe will do it again someday . So I will add a Motor Cycle board to this forum ! How about that!! Still remains a Flat Fender Jeep Related site, but it seems we all like the same stuff!
Second Sir Benthere is a German. How about that !!! I knew there was a little something. I liked about him .
Now..... Repeat after me !!!!
In front of God , and in the presence of the Knights Of The Jeep Round Table...
Haines is right as always , The correct way to Pronounce Willys is "Will-Is"
If I slip up and say Willease .... May my fuel system clog up with debris, and my points and condenser fail !!!
Search your feelings....you know it to be true !!!!!

I'll drink mine out of a bottle. HG prefers a can. Kind of like taking a knife to a gun fight. Mug or Stein. I have mine and a liter mug right now. Just to show Sir Turocy I am serious about my Bier Glasses And I also have one with his name on it , if he ever gets to come back !

OK hornswaglers! Tell me this---------------Is Billys pronounced Billis? Chillys pronounced Chillis? No, they are not. So Willys is pronounced Willeeesse! It's been that way since dirt was young. You guys are prehistoric for sure. You probably drink beer that tastes like it came from a diabetic horse! I'll save Lee in Colorado, since he likes motorcycles too, but HG is a lost soul. I knew that someone here had a tooth since Lee said it was here that toothbrushes were first used. I'm not sure what that looks like. I clean my teeth with a floor polisher. I also was accused of so much orange peel in my paint jobs that it took a floor sander to knock the tips off the peel. Ok, done now----carry on. Signed General Leaker
