In Aug 16 JP Magazine, there is a article about which tools to take on the trail. I really enjoyed this article and while reading I thought their really planning more for a newer rig than a flat fender Jeep. A quick overview of the tools were 1. wrenches and sockets 2. Screwdrivers vise grips, hack saw and file 3 Air supply for flats 4 hub sockets, Hammer and drift 5 Tire repair kit 6. Shovel or all terrain tool kit 7 2 jacks 8.Nylon ratchet strap 9. DVOM, jumper cables extra wire 10 Spare fluids 11. Latex gloves 12. zip, ties, bailing wire, epoxy 13. Spare brake line, clamp for broken leaf spring 14 extra fan belt, hose , fuel line, U joint 15 portable welder
So excluding the 3B, Because they were build with such a higher standard than the rest of the flat fender family. What would you add to the list or not feel would be needed? For some reason we never bring what is needed. That was left on the tool box at home.
One of the things I think is essential on a flat fender trip is extra fuel pump and filter.
I hope you all have an opportunity to read the article in JP it was well written, Any thoughts on what you might add??

All you need is a ten digit toolbox, AAA and a thick wallet.
