Thought I saw your mug in one of jpet's photos.
If you spot a military quality Jerry Can Holder in decent condition for a far price, grab it for me. No prob if post WWII. Just don't want the light duty civilian version.
Thanks!

Sounds good Rick! Was hoping to get my hands on one, in short order, for mock up prior to paint, but a bagger can't be a chooser. . Also looking for a complete draw bar set up. It appears mine was stolen. Probably a scrapper. Hawk

Jeep swap meets are fun. The Captain could have his own. Did you ever find GPW seats? I see them on ebay but wow, expensive and rusty. Grumpy in Casper asked me what a '41 Willys should have to be correct. I told him. Well, it was only a engine. He described it as a 441 Willys Americar engine. Not a Slat. Somewhere out in boonies is a old 40's vintage ranch, way off the highway, that has a pile of WW2 surplus Jeeps that were bought and used to check fence. One of my dreams. Glad you got to see the boys Lee! i'll be seeing you all soon. Muley is first. Oilly

Here are a few shots of the show! A very nice Willys truck and 2A Bob Christys 3B. Nice to finally shake hands with Bob, great guy! Bam Bam, with a few Moab wrinkles My uncle Louie bs'ing with Dave Groh The show was fun, 1300 miles round trip from home, weather was cold on Friday and rained a little on and off.... Great to meet many I have known for years via forums. And very nice to see the ones I know, Johnny Bravo came from WV, Glenn-Red Willy, Tom Durbin-Birddog7, and many others from FCT and BHR... The banquet Saturday night was a great time with great food as well, and the speaker was from the Kaiser-Frazer club and talked of the history of the organization, I will also note when speaking "Willys", it was pronounced the correct way, "Willis", these folks are in the know!...... Some really cool door prizes, Red Willy one the two coolest things there the bastage!.... My liver was flushed also, only a hot HBR on Friday could of made the trip better. Lee

Familiar faces. Nice stuff. Dave Groh's video on how to correctly say Willys makes your statement about people in the know there off a bit. If I'd have been there with Hawky, Moosey, Grumpy, Binthere, and Rudycon, we would have swayed you. Thanks for the pictures. Looking good. Oilly
