Nope. I'm not dead yet.
Been driving the Willys when I can on weekends. Doin' good.
Beautiful day here. Drove the Willys down to do some volunteer work at the little white schoolhouse. Afterward I slipped down to the grocery store to get Lin some flowers. Ran into a guy who has a slide-in bed extender. Do I want it? What's it worth? I dunno. I suppose it is worth what I think it is worth, maybe $200? I have no idea. I suppose I could haul more slash with a box extender. It is described as looking like a Willys pickup box with the angles on top. You re-use the tailgate on the back of the slide in box.

Sir Rudy ( caugh, caugh, caugh!) I have never seen a "slide in model", most are either collapsible (caugh, caugh, caugh) or rigid and you remove the tailgate and they fit in the hinge and bolt on where the tailgate chains hook, then you move the tailgate to the back, there are a couple braces that run from the back to the drawbar for support. I have seen a few over the years and have seen prices in the $100-$250 range DOC...... Better check it out!.
