The first pic is in 1973. The second was 1961 the third is when I picked it up in October 2014! I have been moving slowly on it. But have been gaining momentumhope fully I'll have it for the reunion in Illinois. But who knows what we I might run into! There's an adventure behind every twist of a bolt! I'll try to get pics of the progress. Doing the brakes now total fun! Haha!

Yes I'm a little slow with technology...I call this a repair because I am not doing a restore just a preservation. Eventually I will have to do front floors and the hat chanels just going to do it as inconspicuous as possible. The engine was rebuilt in 68 I have all the paper work on the rebuild. The tires in the 73 picture are still on it which wher bought in 68 also,with no dry rot and 95% tread it was only used during hunting season for the most part. Not many miles on the rebuild. Not really big on taking pics while I'm busy but I'll do my best.

The jeep started out as Michigan yellow some time before 54 it was painted red and the sears hard top was aluminum. So when my great uncle got it all he could see was buckeye colors. I belive in 58 or 59 they painted it royal blue and Michigan yellow. The pictures are deceiving it is still the color they painted it in the fiftys.

I very much like Michigan Yellow flattys, my 2a has Michigan Yellow Wheels, with Emerald green body...... If I live long enough my 3B will be Michigan Yellow......

I wish I had a family Jeep like you, but my Dad didn't like Jeep universals. I envy you. Take good care of the old friend. Now if I could only find my highschool Jeep. You never know. Thanks for posting! Oilly
