One of my favorite Ebay sellers appears to be selling off a very nice collection of shovels and axes. What's up with that? Tim

Sir Hawridge, This thread you started might just be a good way to be serious about this topic...I am! I love the 'ole axes and shovels, entrenching tools, pick axes..etc..... They are what built America...Really! Nothing like some good 'ole fashioned WORK. Members...show your Pioneer Tools... I know you have them!

This old thing? It's a $2.00 tool box a friend couldn't sell at a garage sale. Still kind of cool.

Tim I have one of those same tool boxes, also from a neighbor who couldn't sell it at a garage sale. It was the last thing he gave me before he died from brain cancer so it is permanently a part of my shop now.
It is a great box.
You guys that are collecting axes and shovels need to man up and get yourself a GMTK (WWII issue) to go along with the easy to find stuff. Check out the recent one sold on the G 503 tool board. Great stuff.
