Don't misunderstand me. I like the AJP color and finish. But I would hate to think that someone would tell me, late WWII paint was this, When it's not! We all know that I am a Purist Bastage!

The problem I had with the rattle cans was not in the nozzels but in the can itself. I would put a new nozzle on but the paint still would not come out. What is weird is if you let the can sit for a day, it may start working the next :S. I bought four cans at a time and usually about two of the four were iffy. I still like the shade of Ron's 33070 the best. Now I will admit, I did not shake the can for 20 minutes, but the Rapco paint cans only need to be shook up for like a minute and the paint comes out properly. You can set the can on the shelf for a year a have confidence that it will work the next time you use it. Rapco paint comes with a spare nozzle for each can but I have never needed it.

I'm with Jpet on this. I've never had a RapCo/Gilespies spray paint can fail. 23070. Not a single can out of a dozen +.

HG - I am probably confused on the question you are trying to answer here but those color samples you posted show what AJP claims to be among other things, M38 paint. I still have a few of my NOS M38 radiator guards and they are not that color. They are the same color as the Fitzpatrick paint.
According to AJP '44-45 MB paint is the same as M38 paint. If so, something doesn't add up as that color sample is not M38, unless more than one color was used for M38's.

And a drift we go.... Point I made about the late WWII needs to be addressed. I was only going by what was on the web. Is there, or is there not a late WWII Semi Gloss OD?
It's AJP most popular!!
I told Sir Fitz about your rattle can complaints. He said if there is a problem. Call him, he will fix it. There.
That dude is Solid, and knows WTF he is talking about.

If you plug, soak the tips in a small container of laquer thinner. Then blow the stem out with air. Works for me. I always get the cans empty. Oil
