Thanks for the encouragement guys. Binthere has it right. Focus on the must do's.
Drilled the main jet out tonight. Found the loose Harmonic balancer might be the root cause of engine knock sound. Ordered parts/tools 9-11-2015. Powerlock differential has been lost by USPS.

Easy there big fella!! If it all goes to hell on the stude-willys theres a dozen guys that would value your company in the shotgun seat. I know, it's not the same, but you can ride with me any day.. Stephen, you're welcome in my right seat any time! In fact, I'd even let you drive some. I think Chinaman's Gulch is out, though. BW

Westbounders heading up 285 from Denver:
If you get into trouble, give me a call: tree-o-tree ate-o-tree for-ate-for-ate. I might be able to help out. I work down in Denver and live in Conifer. Aspen Park is considered part of Conifer. It is the first town with car part stores and gas stations after the 7%, cooling system testing, climb out of Denver.
Conifer is about where 285 goes from 2 lanes to 1. This is where the Westbound Weekend traffic jams start on Friday evenings around 5:00pm.
Sometimes Aspen Park, Conifer, Bailey run out of gasoline on busy weekends! Fuel up in Denver if you are rolling through on a Friday/Saturday.
If somebody breaks something and needs parts from Denver, Let me know. I might be able to pick up parts down in town. I plan on leaving very early on 9-23-2015.

I have to tell you that there is no Driver of a Willys like Sir Bruce W! If I was there and had a Jeep present, I would ride with him anyways! TRUST ME! Then let him cook you lunch on the exhaust. Shoot a video....

You're going to bend some nails on that deck of yours! You'll have to drill holes and bolt it on. You'll need long arms to tighten them. Just trying to help------

I'm afraid snowshoes are not too far away! As you can see, I'm not quite ready for winter yet.
If it were just me and the joists weren't galvanized, I would just weld expanded steel down. Lin says no because you can't slide patio furniture around very well. Also, without a railing, there isn't anywhere to set my beer down.

Thanks, Binthere, Haines and Oily. I don't make the views. It is interesting that one yellow aspen out there. most of ours are JUST starting to turn now like on the Mt. In the background. After all of my studebaker set-backs, I chose to work on the plastic fender tow rig today. Gresased it, washed it, waxed it, painted the weird stainless FM antenna black, and, I mounted up a set of 2013 Rubicon wheels which makes this post Willys worthy. Check out the logo on the wheels! Then I worked on the Studebaker. Minutes after I bolted 'er home with the old felt seal and RTV'd the timing cover seal, the new seals arrived in the mail. *sigh* classic. I got 140 ft/lbs on the crank bolt. Hopefully the axial torque is enough to keep the crank hub from moving on the crankshaft snout. Even if it isn't it is all I'll have for the fall color tour. Then I stripped out a bolt on the fan pulley. I ground and cut that bolt out. I'll go get bolts in the morning. Hopefully I'll be mobile again tomorrow.
