I was able to visit Kaiser Willys Jeep Parts today in Aiken SC. My new friend Heath showed me around a bit. Talk about some Jeep Parts!!! The place was bustling! Nice neat warehouse. Heath was kind enough to share a Willys Overland hat and shirt with me. Very nice!! Some of the guys I was looking to meet still hadn't returned from the Hudson Show. I'll catch them next trip up. Thanks again Heath and Kasier Willys. Made My Day!

Told them who I was, let me right in the place. Scary huh? Heath is a phone order taker. He took me back for a view. I want to interview a guy on the staff. He was in route back from the Hudson Show. I will go back. As the Felix Unger of the Flat Fender World, I will say this..for as much activity was going on there, the place was very well kept. Some cool stuff out back I may add! I was going to purchase a hat and T shirt. Heath hooked me up. First thing I noticed where the In Stock CORRECT Battery cables... Even for 24 volt systems. Home state guys... I like it!!!

Funny....first thing I noticed!!! Now we all know that all things we need are not being produced in the USA. Sometimes quality is let's just say substandard. That is a given. What I will say is that I most definitely feel the Willis Mojo happening in that building. Great Folks Doing Their Best! Aiken is Beatiful by the way!

They have the best catalog out there. Good service. I don't think they are as into tech advice and actual mechanical stuff as other supply/parts houses. Crap parts--------they have no control on the manufacturers. They will soon know if they sold something that doesn't work. That's when you find out if they stand behind their business or not. I'm sure it's not a easy job. Their treatment of you is a good gesture, even if you are a crazy, wild, Jeep nut---------- Oil

Well, yeah I got those things too. You can't just give me one day warning, Mr. Bunyan! I know a few guys retired in Aiken, say same. Look forward to the Bridge Bolt - I'll start prayin now. We should make shirts Moosey! Then we can wear them in our caskets when we get run off the road at the top - whoever hits closest to the Yorktown wins!

I'll take an extra large shirt ..... no need to get fancy either, just a plain "Haines" white T, and a magic marker, be creative
