Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. I saw Haines Garage while on the CJ2A forum, and figured I would check it out.
I've owned a 48 CJ2A for almost 30 years. I bought it back in the 80's and it had been restored prior to my getting it. However, I would like to do a frame off and go right through it soon. It has sat a lot in the last 10 years or so. and I finally have some time and money (a rare combination for me).
Anyhow, enjoy the good banter and great posts. Everyone seems friendly and there is a great deal of information being passed around.
George

Welcome to the Garage George. We cut it up quite a bit. That's regular around here. However the Best Flat Fender Talent in the planet chooses to hang around here. Beats the Hell out of me why...
Glad to have a new member, Dive in!

Welcome George . Post pictures if possible. What part of the world are you from ?, hopefully not South Carolina , not that that's a bad thing .................... Now the most important thing we need to know , do you pronounce it WiLL-IS (that's correct), or Wilease (That's the improper way). Fess up . Lee

Hello George! Welcome to another type of Jeep chatter. You are qualified since you have kept your Jeep, all these years. You have Jeep Disease like the rest of us. Do not take any crap off these guys. Dish it right back at them. We also want you to share knowledge and actual jeep driving experiences with us. We long to hear anything that pertains to Jeep fun. We also share freely in order to help. Lee just lied to you. The correct pronunciation is Willleeesssee! I look forward to having you along with us. John aka---Oil, Oilly, or just the Leaker.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've always said Willeeze, but I'm from Massachusetts and we call water fountains 'bubblers'.

Welcome to the site George! A couple things you have to know about Sir Lee! 1 He knows a lot about fixing jeeps. 2 He sure knows how to make supersonic jerky! 3 He most certainly does NOT know how to pronounce Willeees!! And there are a few others here with poor pronunciation! with that knowledge, you should do well here!!

Welcome, George.
I dig the 1980's restoration with the "tequila sunrise" stripes and the white top. Looks good on the black.

Belated welcome. But I'm afraid you've fallen in with thieves and ne'er-do-wells the likes of which you may never have encountered before. Watch out for the tall guy from Pleasant something-or-other. He's crazy as a loon.
