So I can make this work with what I have except for front and rear where it should be "B2" (Bravo Battery 2) I have "82" which means nothing.

Hold on the rear bumperette. Have the company cut you a new "B". I'll bet they would be happy to do it.

Yup that's what I'm doing. I have already sent a request for a "B2" for the front and "B2" for the rear. I take responsibility for the error as I only sent them a grainy pic to decipher instead of clearly spelling out what the characters should be. I started painting the rest of it last night and am making a mess as usual. It'll be fine though. Pics to follow later today.

Coming into this late .. did the stencils myself, despite not having a fancy bean can. As I mentioned before I wanted it to look like field modification, especially on the hood.

Looks great Ryan! That caution mask was a real beotch for me too.
Detard, your GPW also looks very cool. Are those the original hood number and unit info?

Looks great Ryan! That caution mask was a real beotch for me too. I went way too heavy on the paint. The key is super light coats. The hood numbers were easy because they were bigger and spread out. The small "caution" and "TP" numbers are so concentrated in a small area it's tough not too inadvertently just soak them with too much paint all at once.

Herr Hawk- truth told I don't know for sure about the hood number - the guy I bought the jeep from did tell me that there was a fire in the barn where this vehicle was stored which "made it easy to strip the layers of paint" off of it. The longer version of that story I think I did tell. Anyhoo, I have to trust that these are the numbers he found. As for the bumper, bumperettes and D-Day invasion code and paint code on the driver side of the bumper, they are specific to the 1st ID in 1944. If I ever get to the point of making a stencil for the hood star I'll get the gas-detector vesicant paint in the empty space once the circle is done. I know that's committing the jeep to a certain time, but almost no one knows it ... it's just "a jeep" to them!

I did my own stencils... Created my numbers and stars in Photoshop and then printed on some heavy stock paper. Used an exacto knife and cut everything out by hand. Then sprayed some 3m stuff (not sure what it was called, but made the paper like a sticker) placed them where I wanted and masked off and hit it with some white spray paint... I did however go with the 15" star and based it on these schematics.... that way, when I put the windshield down, the star is still visiable!
