Got a double handfull of the NATO 20 liter fuel cans. Bought a few replacement gaskets and am having a whale of a time getting the old gaskets out. I think a little soapy water will ease replacement, but getting the old one out is an exercise in vocabulary enhancement!
What's the trick?

I can see me going at a gas can with a propane torch. I'd end up looking like Theresa in a duck blind.
There IS a story there, but it will have to wait 'till later. I've got about 75% of the old gasket out and there's tools all over the garage floor.
