I found out this morning that my Father George Schiller was killed in a fire at his home in Florida. My brother and I are heading there to take care of what is left of his house. link

Ugh! Anything I can do, call me. Wouldn't take me long to get to Chuck Town.

Take me down to the river bend Take me down to the fighting end Wash the poison from off my skin Show me how to be whole again
Fly me up on a silver wing Past the black where the sirens sing Warm me up in a nova's glow And drop me down to the dream below
'Cause I'm only a crack in this castle of glass Hardly anything there for you to see For you to see
Bring me home in a blinding dream, Through the secrets that I have seen Wash the sorrow from off my skin And show me how to be whole again
'Cause I'm only a crack in this castle of glass Hardly anything there for you to see For you to see
'Cause I'm only a crack in this castle of glass Hardly anything else I need to be
'Cause I'm only a crack in this castle of glass Hardly anything there for you to see For you to see For you to see

We're all here but for a short time. All you can do on this ride is make the best of it. We're here to lean on and talk to, so don't hold back. Some of us have already gone through this. Chin up, time heals pain. Steady hand on the tiller and full speed ahead. Oil

Very interesting, you found this for a reason and a little piece of your dads history in the Navy. What I see , the "1" pin is the "First Marine Division" or "The Old Breed", no doubt who your dad served with as a Corpsman in Vietnam. There headquarters were in Chu Lai, and area of ops. were I corps, Quang Tin and Quang Nai provinces. The ribbon is Very cool as well. Thanks for posting Lee

That is correct Captain. I have other papers I found as well . Medical records from the VA, and actually a complete assignment record. The house was bad. I stood on the charred floor where it all ended. I saw many things I probably should not have. I am sorry my friends, I just need a little time.
