Oh my lord did my trailer thread get the pirate plunder of the century! OK...I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that I'll either never see a lunette or it will be a LOOOOONG time in the coming. So, is there such a thing that has a 2' ball connected to a lunette? That way I could squeeze the current trailer coupler onto the ball and then hitch the lunette to my jeep? The beauty of would be that I could then tug the trailer with the jeep and with my regular tow vehicle. I've found this (in the link below). I would need something that is like this configuration, but I don't quite think this works with any coupler. coupler to ring adapterI don't know what the heck the terminology is for me to properly search. PS...Capt L: there is currently a NOS WWII lunette on ebay. Only $225. Sell me yours.

They make a pintle hitch with a ball already! They do! and I think one could be made from whats out there. The Moose has it bad! I can make that sh!t! with tools in my garage! Unless we can convince the ever winch loving Sir Schimmster to cast them! He we go! there is obviously a market out there for them. No one has them. But at $200+ a crack.......C'MON!

As cool as he is, on this issue the Moose cant find his ass with both hands! I am going to have to road trip with him, and put up with his crying whiny ass for a whole day! I will get that Fargin Trailer with him MAN style, and take him to a Off The Grid Bone Yard in the upstate of SC as well. Its a little sketchy there It will all work out! That Bastage has been off the golf course, Broken Tired, And doing nothing but scouring the web for a Lunette! To which is right in front of his FACE!

YO BO, if you have a lunette, and you have a receiver hitch on your towing truck, buy a pintle adaptor.
The trailer I use to haul the Willis has a lunette, that's what I did.
Besides, it makes a good excuse when somebody wants to borrow it...saves money on flats and broken lights!

Hang on, my friends...and HG. The trailer has a ball hitch receiver. The jeep has a pintle hook. I need something to mate the two...and I'm not putting a ball on the jeep. In my head, it kind of looks like what HG says to get from Northern Tool and it has a 2" ball on the rear side. Is that even safe? Gary...send me your lunette so I can bonk Haines on the head. Sure, buddy, I'll return it to you when I'm done.
