Hey, Jon from Texas here... Hang with most of you guys from the Willys CJ-2a FB page and from CJ2a page (aka Dirtmonkey) as well. Remember seeing something about Haines starting a page and finally found the link! Really like the engine rebuild forum as Im gonna hopefully be following suit this year! Excited and a bit nervous about it as Ive only rebuilt one other engine in my lifetime and that was with the help of someone who knew what they were doing. Was a 6 cyl out of my 71 Chevy nova when I was in highschool. And I really want the hands on and the ability to say that I rebuilt it! So... Im sure Ill be buggin' ya all for help!

Thanks Gary... I was just reading through Chris' intro and the ramblings in there.... laughing! Ramblings???!!! WTH?? I drove by your house earlier this week - I mean not right by but maybe a mile away. I like BBQ. When are we going to Hutchins again? Maybe Gary can meet us there. I am driving to Kansas tomorrow to harass Steve into working on my Willys. They think they have good BBQ there but nothing like Texas BBQ. Yankees think BBQ is cooking burgers on the grill in the back yard. That is called a cook out. BBQ is brisket and Ribs smoked over a real fire for 12-15 hours. I like dogs better than cats. I like pretty girls better than dogs. Yankees talk funny and miss pronounce Willys. I don't like my neighbors dogs that bark for hours and hours. I hate HOA's but do like some Yankees even if they do talk all funny. Seriously. Real BBQ next week.
